Messaging, minus the noise
A fast, quiet messenger. Sign in with your phone number, talk to the people you choose, and read in plain language what happens to your messages on our servers.
Free to use · No ads · No trackers · No data resale
What the app does
Sign in with a phone number
CoreA number, a code from an SMS, and you are in. No email, no password to lose, no social account to link.
A chat list that stays in order
Pinned chats on top, unread counts, delivery ticks, last-seen. Search across names, usernames and the last message.
Nothing arrives twice, nothing goes missing
Every chat has a gap-free message sequence, so a device that was offline for a week catches up in one request — in the right order.
Delivery states you can trust
Sent, delivered, read — tracked per participant, so a tick means what it says instead of guessing from timestamps.
Notifications that stay quiet
Twelve messages in four seconds arrive as one notification, not twelve. No marketing pushes, ever.
Photos, files and voice notes
ComingAttachments upload straight to object storage over a signed link and are delivered from the edge closest to you.
47 languages
The interface follows your system language. English and Russian are fully translated; the rest fall back to English rather than showing blanks.
Report, block, appeal
ComingReport a message or an account from inside the app. We review reports, act on them, and tell you what happened — see the Terms for the procedure.
Familiar where it should be, quiet everywhere else

Straight talk about encryption
Most messengers imply more protection than they ship. Here is exactly where oChat stands today, in the same words the Privacy Policy uses.
Read the Privacy PolicyEncrypted in transit
Every connection between the app and our servers runs over TLS. Nothing travels in the clear.
Encrypted at rest
Messages and attachments are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM on our servers and in object storage.
Not end-to-end encrypted at launch
The keys are held by our servers, which means we can technically read message content. We do so only where legally compelled or to investigate an abuse report. End-to-end encryption for direct chats is on the roadmap, and this page will change the day it ships — not before.
No ads, no trackers, no resale
No advertising SDKs in the app, no third-party analytics on this website, and your data is never sold or shared for marketing.
